Rode the my new Union Forces today. Cost $235 + tax Canadian in sale.
Quick Review:
Very nicely made.
Really like the adjustable heel
(Check out their website videos explaining the tech)
Comfy Straps and base pad
Nice sticker selection free with the bindings
Top strap is tool free adjustment (others need tool)
Mine are the basic Force and are still super light compared to the Cartels I rode before.
Definitely more comfortable than the Cartels as well. Having moved to 2010 Burton IONs with their new thin soles, my cartels were killing the soles of my feet. The Forces don't!
They are pushed as an all mountain binding, so are quite responsive but still have a really nice flex in the heel. So running them in the park with no problems.
They also only touch the board on the disc and then use padding for the rest of the binding and this definitely adds to the responsiveness.
Cons:
Toe strap did slip once today but this happened on my Cartels as well.
The new Burton Ions are super slim boots, so the upper strap is on it's second to smallest adjuster and my boots are near the upper range for the M/L binding.
All in all, I am well happy with my purchase.
I would recommend taking your boot with you and making sure it fits nicely though.
Cheers

Agree with it all, have some 2009/2010 green ones and love them. Super comfy, plenty responsive enough for all mountain, but the highback is flexy enough for the park. Padding is comfy too.
If you get some take time setting them up, the toe strap and heel strap need to be central on the boot once done up. Also check the screw that keeps the toe strap on, one of mine disappeared in austria last year though had no problems since.
The toe strap does sometimes slip, mostly when going to your toes in a fall or when stropping onto your kness.....it's nowhere near as bad as my custom toe strap slipped though.
Union back their bindings thoroughly too. Had a few problems with my first pair, they sorted everything out with a full replacement no quibbles and just a few e-mails. Love union bindings so much have just invested in some of this years contacts for my park board.
