Board
K2 Vandal
Rome Label
Burton Chopper

All coming in about £90. The Burton will only go up to a 130cm and the other can be ordered at 137cm so the wee guy would probably get a bit more use out of one of them. I'm inclined to go with Rome but I don't know how folk rate their kids gear.

Bindings
Struggling a bit with these as he's a size adult four so we were told medium womens models would probably be light enough and would give him a few extra years use before he moves up to mens. So far I've looked at Ride Phenom, Burton Freestyle Grom and Saloman Team Binding. They all go up to a size four so no use past this year.

Any tips for cheap medium womens bindings that aren't covered in pink or flowery? Trying to keep around the £50 / £60 mark so if anyone’s seen any in the sales then a heads up would be appreciated.

Was about to say binding wise something like a burton stiletto as they come in plain white and black, but they are about a hundred notes (just trying to find the blue purple one for my gf). You could try and find the union lady cadet, as that's white and grey from memory, was about 100 rrp from memory. The salomon grace is red and white from memory, don't think it has any flowers but don't quote me. I think it was only about 80 or 90 rrp, so might come in on your budget.

Give subvert boardstore a call, they might be able to help. October time when I was in manchester they had boots right down to a kids 10, but I am making my little lad wait til he's a tad older than 5!

Cheers for the tips. The Grace bindings are a bit pink n white - I don't think he'd put up with them!
Turns out the Saloman Team Binding go to a size 5.5 so they might be a decent shout. Will call subvert and see if they have anything that does the job.
