Next March its my 30th birthday, and about 3/4 of my mates too. there are about 14 of us planning a big 30th birthday celebration with a week away snowboarding and skiing and i was hoping to get some suggestions from a few people
italy, austria, france?
looking for a place with a good mix of runs because there'll be people in the party who are beginners to experienced. a good level of night life and places to eat oh and good snow too obviously.
so any suggestions please |

I'm heading to Arinsal in Andorra for my 30th next year too, although in January. From what I've read and been told it's great for beginners to intermediate but a bit lacking for advanced riders, only a hand full of blacks and only about 70km of runs. Great for me and the majority of my group though with only one worrying about the runs.
It's cheap, tax free and has a decent night life. Biggest downer is the 4 hour bus transfer from the airport. |

thanks both.
Andorra was suggested but a few of my mates have done seasons out there during our teens so we've ruled that one out.
Morzine - dont really know much about this place - whats the skinny?
a couple of other suggestions have been Obertauren, Les Arcs and Tignes
also Macugnaga was suggested but not sure about the nightlife on this one?? |

Here i put some details about the mountains of Piedmont, featured at the Torino 2006 Winter Olympics, provide a unique backdrop for winter sports and skiing in Italy. But they also provide peace and quiet for amateurs to have fun, space for beginners, and great cultural and gastronomic traditions.
Piedmont features 53 ski resorts, 1,300 kilometers of runs, and over 300 installations comprising aerial tramway's, cable ways, chair-lifts and ski-lifts, with a capacity of 400,000 people per hour,i hope you will be enjoy. |
