Help!
I'm a big guy, 6'1" and 100kg. i've got a Burton Custom 162W which is great for the mountain. I fancy a park board for messing at Castleford. Is a 155 K2 WWW too small for me, if so what happens when your board is too small? Never needs to go outside a dome, any advice? |

| Thanks isurefly, how do you find inddor kickers on your WWW? I've read a review that says it's too soft to land a decent jump with. Not that I'm any good at that but it's one of the skills I want to focus on this year. Any body out there tried a Bataleon Fun Kink? |

| Not had any problems on the one at my local indoor place it might be a bit on the soft side for hitting anything big tho... as for the fun kink took one for a spin for a couple of hours but the waist was too narrow for size 11 boots.. |

| Ah, thanks for that, I have same size feet. Sounds like WWW is the way to go then. I tried an Evil twin which was mega but everyone seems to have sold out or wants crazy money. |

the www isnt for kickers at all, but you'll never notice the shortfalls of the board unless your hitting big kickers |

you should be fine on the 153w, and waist width should be ok with size 11s... i ride a 152 regular width WWW with size 11s and have no problems!
as for kickers unless you're hucking off anything massive you shouldnt have a problem, will probably help a little being a wide board. it is fairly noodly though (which i like). good fun on piste and ideal for rails... the only thing to get used to is the shorter nose and tail, you cant spring off them as much as a normal twin tip,so 180s take a bit more of a body rotation, but the short nose and tail do make butters dead easy and presses on the piste/boxes really easy to hold.
hope that helps! |

If you want to concentrate on kickers I would look elsewhere, WWW are noodles |

| All things being equal, I think I've got beautifully proportioned feet. But yeah, size 11. Had a look at the Parkstar Wide, looks great but can't seem to find a decent deal on one. Could do without spending £300+ on a board for messing about on indoors. |

I searched for ages for a 153w of the www, gave up in the end. I did buy a 152, but took it back as it was so so soft. I ended up buying a Stepchild Chi Borg in a 155, and it's the most fun I have ever had on a board. Have just got back from a week in the 3 valleys, and it went everywhere....bombing down reds, over kickers (only blue grade mind), over rails, through POW and everything inbetween.
I can't recommend it enough. Presses nice, turns great, reverse camber like the WWW too. I got it for 227 from magictoast in leicester.
Flex wise, it's still soft, but has slightly more too it. Whereas the www is about a 3, the chi borg is about a 4. For info I am 6ft1 and 105kg. |

it's one of the softest boards out there and i wouldn't fancy hitting a black jump on it but nothing in a dome will cause you any problems
i've got one that i only really intended for dome use but it's turned into probably my most fun board, you can press it around and bounce about like no-one's business, it doesn't really have any pop but you can throw it pretty high, maybe because you can get the nose up to waist height just flexing that badboy out lol
anyway for dome use i think it's ideal,
i rode a slayblade for most of the season and the first day i took the weapon up it felt dodgy as, took me a while to get the confidence up for really pressuring the edges and going fast. you'll probably get the same because of being used to the custom - moving from an all mountain charger to a noodle takes a bit of getting used to - mainly because bombing a piste the effective edge feels like it';s only between your feet, you can still do it just feels like the board can;t handle it at first |

| Mmmm, does the Parkstar have the long effective edge like the WWW? Will a std width 155 be ok for a big footed oaf like me? |

| I looked at the parkstar too, while it features the jib tip tech its effective edge isn't as long as the www. It's only the jibpan and www that seem to have the long effective edge. |
