| Looking for a good place or website to buy a helmet, im in hertfordshire. Been in snow and rock but they seem to charge loads more then if I was to buy online. Just worried about buying one online and not fitting properly! |

| Yeah I need to get myself a helmet as well...it's a difficult thing to buy online though. I know Subvert had some bottom of the range Pro Tec ones for £45 but when I tried one on it didn't feel that comfortable. |

| Yeah I've got a Bern Watts, 39 quid from Bargain boards, it was a while ago but if you go for the basic bern ones and not the dedicated snowsports ones they are miles cheaper. |

| My RED Trace II was only £50 new (and delivered), it's not basic, not imo anyway, all the 'features' I wanted and fits like a glove. |

Make sure you try on the one you want before buying online.
Everyones nogin is shaped slightly different, so its important that you get a good fit!
Also take your goggles with you when trying on to make sure they fit as certain helments don't fit certain goggles very well! |

Agreed, if it doesn't fit right you might as well ride without. |

| I picked up a Smith Holt from Snow and Rock last night, fits great, £60. Whether that is expensive or not I have no idea....it was freestyle night and I needed one. |
