Hi to all, new member to this site. Been snowboarding up glenshee couple of times this winter, back again on friday. Now feel im at the level to purchase a new board (been on all the glenshee runs, havin a blast thru all, falling leaf for glas maol tho )
A know the golden rule, never buy from ebay etc, try going into an actual snowboard store to get fitted. Only problem at the moment, is finances. Ive been offered a K2 board, boots and goggles for 150. The guy is a contact thru a workmate. He went snowboarding once, bought 400 quid worth of gear, used the K2 board once, then never went again!
Need some advice regarding the offer. From looking at the pics, can anyone tell me the K2 model on offer? The boots look like the clip on ones ive seen some boarders using. Im a size 11, and the boots on offer are 7. If a manage to buy a decent set of boots with my size will they clip on ok too the board. Is it a universal clip attached to the board?
Any advice would be appreciated, has any one bought or used this type of board before? The seller bought it around 4 or 5 years ago, and has it wrapped in its original bag ever since. So does sound like a good deal? Im meeting the guy to have a look at the gear before a decide |

£150 sounds a lot for what is clearly old gear, the boots wont fit and I doubt you will find a K2 Clickerboot in your size anymore, they stopped making them at least 8 or so years ago, so basically you would pay £150 for a board, buy one on here for that or less and it would be quite new |

| the main advantage of them is that they will take up less space in your bin than a set of flows. |
