so finally I bough the northwave decade SL boots, size 28,5cm
now turn to buy bindings, and read great reviews about Drake Czar and Union Flow. Are they good ALL MOUNTAIN bindings? would the union work well with my boots (drake and northwave are same brand, so I am sure they would complement well)?
any other binding I should consider?
also, which size do you think I should go? L or XL?
thanks |

You should deffinately try out the UNION FORCE, never heard a bad word said about Union and the ones im riding in are so comfy and responsive.
On the Unions there is an overlap for sizes 8.5, anything over size UK 8.5 you should be in their L/XL anything under UK 8.5 an M/L will be fine |

I think all retailers are online now adays so do a search,
SL is the superlight, lighter version of the force and a bit more pricey
MC is the Machine Cored, mainly carbon fibre and super light but super expensive aswell |

Am fairly sure union eurpope are based in Italy, seen as the customer service guy I have dealt with was based somewhere towards Livigno.
They back their products to the hilt, couldn't have been more helpful and quick in sorting things.
The forces will be hard to track down now though, they sold out pretty quick most places. You could try snowboard asylum, they had some on their website in white and black, not sure what sizes. I got my green ones from freezeproshop, and have ordered a few bits since and they have always been excellent. |

i found Union Data, as far as I understood they are the Force with more padding, right? I am planning to use them on a K2 Podium, so the pinstripe design would fit quite well.
I have Northwave leather boots, so probably i would be better with the Force, otherwise too much padding.
Also, how does the toecap work? from the pic it seems like it would sit on top of the foot only |
