sorry i wont be but i was just wondering if you had been before and what was it like?
i've heard the season doesn't end till mid may and i was going to try and squeeze a weekend in beginning of may

Very little will be open at the beginning of may - probably just the Bochard at Grands Montets. It all depends on how the snow holds on. It could be crap... but last year we had a wicked powder day on April 30th. You never know!
The Grands Montets closing party is on 4th May I think this year, which would be a good laugh. Bit of slushy riding and there'll be a water slide I should think - which is always fun! |

| i dunno, i was there 16-20 March a couple of years ago and the conditions were still fantastic and all areas fully open. I havent been out there this seasonn so things could be lot worse or something but personally i would quite happily book for Chamonix early April. |

| there is a load of sun at the mo but no snow forecasted which is a bit rubbish. but its nice riding in the snow! im out here all season. as cleveland said the grand montets is last to close o the 4th. rest are like a week or so before. |
