More for the evening for sure, but still making sure we have good stuff for beginners, but what's out during the day will depend on Hemel and how much space they think they'll have; they're still finding their feet as haven't been open a year yet.

I've paid up for the day session so hope there will be some toys out to play on.

although tbh the SCUK box alone is a good laugh Smile

Am I correct in presuming that hire gear will not be allowed to be used on the freestyle toys?

Is it going to be a reduced park in the day, or will it be the same set up for the night session all day?

Whilst we pretty much have the whole slope, there will be some space for rec users, but there should certainly be huge amount of toys out to play on.

SCUK Box has been revamped too:

At a pinch Express coaches stop in the centre of Hemel and then it's just a short taxi ride. Not sure about links to Hemel station, but you'd probably have to go via London or St. Albans.

Hi guys n gals,
I'm quite new to boarding and the toys will be way out of skill set. Will there still be plenty of space for me to enjoy the day as a rec rider?
Will it be similar to the Friday night setup?

Cheers Very Happy

Will there be any boards there that can be demoed?

I know its too early for next season stuff, but would the shop there have any left over from this season to demo?

The board test starts that weekend, but Snow+Rock will have their normal demo boards available at the normal rates.

There will still be lots of space for recreational riding; we're not taking over the whole slope, but hope to have a number of freestyle areas available both for the paid coaching sessions and just for fun. If you can already ride, why not give one of the flatland or ollie sessions a go though? They're about as basic as you can get, but useful skills to have to progress from.

This question has probably been already answered - apologies if so.

Is it possible to come down Saturday afternoon, ride for an hour or two recreationally and hit the SCUK bash features?

I can't make the vast majority of the day, so no point paying £50, but wouldn't mind a quick session.

Cheers

I assume that I can hire a board for flatland tricks? I know some slopes don't like you to go over jumps and such with their equipment, so will I be able to participate without my board (which is on the other side of the country!).

Cheers
