hi guys
I never had a toolkit with me, but now I am buying my gear for first time and was considering it.
Do you bring with you an all-tool/screwdriver/etc kit while you are on the slope? is it cumbersome to have on your pocket and maybe dangerous when you fall? any suggestion which one to buy?

Something like that does the trick, i have one similar a jimmey tool or something its called, yeah ul feel it with you fall, but its not as bad as having a screw driver in ur pocket to stab urself with.

I don't really carry any tool with me when i'm riding on a mountain. I check my board in the morning before i go riding and that's enough for me. I haven't had any problems so far.

check out the burton zip tool, ive got one from a few years back, its ideal, about the size of a car keyfob, and wont stab you if you fall on it. all the bits are stored inside the case.

theyre quite reasonably priced too.

I've got one of them. It usually lives in my pocket when i'm riding. But mine's better than that one cos mine was free and has got the SCUK logo on it! Razz

Snowboard pants are usually pretty baggy and have plenty of pockets, so you should be ok. I usually make sure that mine is in the knee pocket of my back foot, as that's the leg that hits things the least often! Very Happy

That Burton tool looks much tidier tho! Not bad for £6 either...

I have the Bullet tool, nice ratchet on it for easy tightening, all the bits live inside and smooth edges as mentioned.

Bullet tool is the best I think.
Most other tools I've had the ratch action usually died.

none of them are really good to have in your pocket though the amount of times i have fallen on a ratchet screwdriver, especially when out demo'ing and swapping binders about..

i have a big meaty, no' 3 (or 4 maybe) normal handled screwdriver that i keep in my board bag, and i usually have the rechargable drill in the car, as it saves all the grief

for on hill i have one of these

http://www.cal-surf.com/product_detail. ... p;LinkID=1

no ratchets to feck up, and the spanner can be used as a handle for better grip/torque, it's in a tiny little pouch and goes into most pockets without a feeling of danger

Just got back from Kitz and they have them all over the mountain too... I changed my screws in my bindings to an allen key fitting type and they even had allen keys too, so may as well not bothered eh! Lol.
