Hi guys,
i think my choice boils down to the three models in the subject, had hard time to find the few all-mountain regular camber left, now it seems everything is bananing all over...
I need your help in understanding the differences among these boards and how they would perform and which are their shortcomings. I cannot demo the boards.
The full list with other boards I might consider as well is the following:
* Burton Custom - regular camber
* Nitro Team - regular camber (at the moment this is the favorite)
* K2 Podium - (it seems a budget board, to disappear in 2011)
* K2 Zero - regular camber (soon to change for Flatline though!!!)
* Ride Antic - regular camber, how it is?
* Ride Concept UL - regular camber (too stiff? pro level only?)
* Ride Prophet (it's an all mountain?)
thanks in advance, any idea is appreciated |

I love nitro boards, I have a swindle, it's bomb proof. The team is, from what I researched, a really good board. A bit more all-mountain board than park so I ended up going for a Ride Society as I wanted a true twin, rather than the teams directional. Last years board looks sick though, and I hear nothing but good things about this years gullwing camber too.
When I asked on here, grill said the tip and tail of the team were a bit on the stiff side for jibbing, but having not ridden the board I can't comment. However, I think it would go anywhere and do anything but is just a bit more all-mountain than park. He said it was great in pow too, and the whitelines video I watched said as much.
If you can ride a few and see what suits you. |

thanks
i wish i could ride one, but not where I live.
I also read it's a great board, but I read different opinions on behavior in powder.
Also, I am not able to compare the boards I listed, nor the technologies and materials used by Nitro vs K2 vs Ride.
Many say that Nitro Team base is somehow poor, but reviews are raving about speed you can get.
Also, K2 Podium is also supposed to be a great board, but it seems to be a "budget board" so I wonder how it is really and if it's at the same level than Team or Antic. |
