Can anybody suggest any decent knee pads.
After my first 'Real' session at CFe my knees are absolutely killing me.
Seen some dianese ones, but they have shinguards which i'm not to bothered about. |

| or if you don't wanna spend as much, get some kyle straights from 661, good protection and fairly low profile so comfy to wear. |

i use those.
very comfortable. in fact, as i teach on dry slope i often wear them for 10 hrs straight.
I bought the same ones for me and the missus last year after she kept landing on her knees and damaged one the year before. I couldn't recommend them enough... VERY comfy, and after 10 minutes you don't even realise you have them on. Supportive too. Ok, they are about £75 - but then you only get one SET of knees!!! |

| Lol you bought the D3O ones just so the Ardkor knows you can get a pair of standard 661 which arent d30 and are about 30 quid and in my opinion still very comfortable |

I haven't worn the one's that Phil's talking about, but another vote for the Evo d30 kneepads from me.
Read my review on them here: http://snowboardclub.co.uk/PNphpBB2-vie ... 38106.html
Also worth pointing out the kneepads were only £60 when I bought them (delivered) but I opted to buy the 'padlocks' as well and I'm really glad I did. With both those bad boys on, they barely moved if at all... |

I want some D30 evos but I can never figure out which size I need and for the life of me can't find any shops that stock them so I can go try some on. |

Yeah personally I find them useful, the pads don't move that much once you've got them on anyway, but for me I find them even more comfortable with them on.
I'm glad I bought them but they're entirely not 'required'.
The padlocks are one of those try it out things I reckon but definitely don't pay anything over £15 for them, if that. |
