Post subject: Ride Kink vs Capita Stairmaster?  PostPosted: Mar 13, 2010 - 10:33 PM

Trying to decide between the two. They're both relatively cheap park/jib boards.
I can't seem to find any reviews on the Ride Kink, has anyone ridden this, would they recommend it?

Lots of reviews on the Stairmaster, all seem pretty good. Was pretty hooked on it before I discovered the Kink. Now i'm having second thoughts.

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Hopefully buying a fun new board sometime soon.

i would say that the kink is more jib and small kickers, the stairmaster soaks up the bigger booters better but has a nice flex pattern for jib and presses

tbh most of us wouldn't be able to spot the difference between the 2... i'd just go for the stairmaster because i prefer capita boards to ride.

i just got a capita horrorscope FK for jib and domes and it's freaking awesome, lots of deals to be done at the moment Wink

Thing that did it for me is that the KINK is made out China, where as the STAIRMASTER comes from Elans factory in Austia which to me always screams quality.

I know manufacturing has come on a lot in China recently, but all the kit ive ridden out of the Elan factory has been spot on and lasted alot longer than China products.

So the STAIRMASTER gets my vote, and ive been riding one since the end of summer its awesome.
