Can anyone remember what time it was we arrived at BSM
I'm pretty sure it was 10:30ish, about 4 hours late.
i have just been looking at the compensation policy and just for those that may forget you have a free return trip in the same class.
http://www.eurostar.com/UK/uk/leisure/c ... r_care.jsp
or a refund of 50% of the outgoing ticket price if you dont think you will use the free trip.
you have 60 days to claim the refund if you choose that option.
dont forget now |

I just thinking of making a similar post myself - so nice one lee.
Can you or anyone else confirm that there were definate vouchers being handed out at BSM as I didnt see any.
Also, I believe we got in just before 10
Because I have memories of standing around waiting for the others and a mini bus at 10am as we looked at the public bus timetables saying 11.30 departure.
Quite vividly remember none SCUKs talking of a 1.5 hour wait before their own transfer bus. |

| I didn't see any vouchers, but assume just having the ticket details is enough to claim the free ticket. They said 12 months for booking the freebie. |

Only thing I'm left wondering about is whether a free return ticket will be for a trip all the way to Bourg St Maurice? They mention same class on that web page, but it doesn't specify the same destination. They might just fob us off with a free trip to Paris (I mean, who wants to go there? ). |

| Train is the best way to go. Strangely every carriage is fairly empty, so you get your "booked" seat and then there's normally a couple of spare seats nearby you can actually sleep on. |

Your not wrong.
My 'booked' seat was taken by someone else in both directions! |
