How do people keep the snow out of the gap between their sleeves and their gloves with burton stuff? My burton AK jacket has little red elasticated loops rather than snowcuffs and my gloves have little bits of fabric with a popper on...theres no way of joining them together.
The gloves are '10 burton goretex gloves and the jacket is a '09 AK 3L Hover, but I have the same issue with my burton down. Tried my mates '09 burton goretex gloves and theyre the same design with a little popper.
Seems like a bit of a design flaw, my old Shredz jacket had snowcuffs which were brilliant for when you fist planted into powder, currently "not burying myself in powder" isnt an option

Why not just have the cuff of your glove inside the sleeve with your coat sleeve over the top of the glove tightened up? :S
I don't have any fancy gear and does me fine

I just do what Sidget says. Sometimes snow goes up there, but then I don't mind so much.

I thought that the little red loops were for fastening your gloves on to, although I use wrist loops fastened to my mitts to do that.
My AK jackets have velcro sleeve fastners, and the sleeves are cut long. So you have two choices: put the jacket sleeves over the mits or put the mitts over the jacket sleeves.
I have to take my mitts off lots to take pictures so I simply snug the jacket sleeves down tight and then the mitts ("gauntlets" designed for powder) go over the top. Pull the elastic on the mitts for a snow tight seal if you can be bothered. That way you never have to adjust the jacket all day, just fiddle with the tightness of the mitts.
The main advantage from the AK stuff is that the pants fasten into the jacket, giving a 100% snow seal there.
