Hey, I'm thinking of going back upto aviemore start of april but i'm looking for a place to stay which has accomodation and mountain passes included in like a bundle, Does anybody know of any offers or packages like this? please post any info you have on the wall, Thanks : )

I don't think anywhere does it as a package.

If you don't want to queue for your pass you can order it online and pick it up from the ranger hut though. Or take cash n get in the small queue down the side of the cafe

aw man, I don't wana spend a bomb on accomodation, Usually i stay at the youth hostel because i'm in and out to do my thing but i'm goin up with a misses this tym so i gota up the ante a lil, Is the hotel opposite aviemore station expensive? were only up there for 3 nights so lookin for kinda short stay deals, has anyone been up there lately? did the macdonald hotel shut on the main street cos when i was up there it was lukin spooookily dark.

Just stayed in the SYHA Youth hostel on sunday night didnt have any issues getting lift pass think weekdays are fairly quiet

Kila B and B is where we stay. Up the side of the Macdonald. £30 a night per person with a banging breakfast.

75quid a night! ermm i'l pass on that one, Your idea of reasonably priced is a lil disturbing lol i may aswell go tignes for that price

thanks thats a good hook up, Is there any more like this? Also, Do you reckon the weather is gona hold up start of april at fort william? I'm kinda 50/50 dont know whether to risk it what you think?

You tend to get better, longer days in April although you have to watch out for the odd lambing storm (although that can result in a late season dump). I couldn't confidently tell you what is happening with the weather this weekend, never mind in April. However, I'm looking forward to some crackin' April days in the park up at Nevis/Cairngorm.

Theres more B and B's like that on the Aviemore tourist board website. All around £30 pp per night.

Like Stevie says though, the weather is hard to guess/predict. Park laps in the sunshine is hopefully what April will be all about.
