Does anyone go to this, just woundering if it gets busy? Hemal is my local but they dont seem to do a rookie park anymore. I've not been to a freestyle night yet and I think the features at hemal might be too big for me. Smile

Cheers..

if you meant hemel- they do do a rookie park, its on the lesson slope, but when i was there last week it got very very busy. However i ride MK on a thursday, and i prefer it, they do SNOacadamy if your a beginner, and i do that every week pretty much as its not much more money- especially with the SCUK discount. It varies in how busy it is week to week, but i'd figure if you want it quiet, the week of the brits will be a good week to go.

Thurs nights at MK will start to get pretty quiet in the coming weeks as we close out the season. Also MK will likely put out some toys each day during the summer, so tons of time to practice.

I heard a rumour that hemal had stopped the rookie freestyle nights and that they would not continue in the summer either? But if MK is quieter then that suits me.

There's always a rookie park at Hemel on a Friday night out on the beginners slope - they just stopped putting stuff out Wednesdays and Thursdays due to the peak ski season traffic.

Come the summer it should get even better with more of the main slope dedicated to the full park, and the rookie park getting quieter (so more hits for the hard-core regulars who go Smile )

Well, they'd be stupid not too...
