Freelining and snojibbs do look extremely similar. And I'm sure they take lots and lots of skill to be able to do.
But then so does standing on a tightrope whilst juggling with a lion and a running chainsaw. The question is why the hell would anyone want to do it! |

that's it then, the only way to resolve this is a skateboarder vs eyeliner whoops err freeliner game of H.O.R.S.E to the death over punji sticks and flaming lava pits!! |

| It depends what the tricks for H.O.R.S.E are. If the tricks are to stand around on one foot waving things in the air, or looking stupid trying to grab the little bits of wood on your feet when you drop off a curb, I think the freeliners may win it! |

See that why I say I'm not a major fan boy of the thing. Can't really see how standing on one foot is cool. Not sure about these "bit of wood?" What that all about?
However I do enjoy shredding downhill at break-neck speed with them. But hey each to their own.... |

Generally for someone to have that much of a stong opinion of freelines probably means they lack the skill to use it or haven't tried it at all. So yeah.....I understand your frustration.
To be honest I'm not a massive fan boy of freelines or anything. Its just an alternative to my normal skateboarding or snowboarding. What wrong with that? Hardly a crime mate.
But hey if you want to rant about it still...be my guest......no offence taken....knob
talk sense man!!! I don't even understand that first line to offer a retort!?
bike came before car and anyway, bike aren't douchey.
I've been skateboarding for 17 years so I'm stuck in my ways a little, and have seen these gimmicks come and go.... |

I went onto the freelining website and looked at some videos with their pro's on - involved dropping off a foot high curb desperately grabbing both feet to keep things attached! |

Who says you can't do both? I also climb and fitting a skateboard in tiny locker is impossible. So sometime I take freelines for convenience. Either that or risk my skateboard being nicked.

We'll just leave it as "you don't understand".....no body is debating with you about about which came first bike or car. So not sure what you're on about mate.
I'm not saying one is better than the other since I skate and freeline. It just an alternative. It'll never make the X-games or anything grand like that. But doesn't say you can't mess about with it and have a laugh.
Just wondering for the peeps who are saying Freeline is naff? Have you actually tried it tho? If not, what are you basing it on? Its like my skier mates saying snowboarding are for people who can't ski and they can quite easily say skiing came first and that snowboarding is inferior even tho they themselves have never touched a snowboard. Hardly a fair opinion I eh? |

you said to me in an earlier post 'would you tell a cyclist to go buy a car'
...and my answer was, well what it was....
but if you can't even follow your own conversations then there is no hope..
I also climb, but why would you need to be puttinga skateboard in locker? I just go to the wall in my car....and my board lives in my boot.
wierd. |
