Hi everyone,
Apologies if this question has come up before, i've used the search and read everything there is but i'm still not sure and nowhere seems to have the parkstar in stock to demo!
I'm trying to decide between the K2 parkstar 155 (if i can find one!) and the WWW rocker 155.
I'm basically looking for something a bit softer than my current board for messing around in the park and piste. I tend to go abroad one week a year with the rest of the year filled with dryslope/snowdome playing.
Has anyone ridden these boards? I'm leaning towards the parkstar but availability seems to be a problem, and i'm worried the extruded base on the WWW will be a bit slow abroad (hence the 155 instead of the 152)...
Thanks in advance for any help! |

| I have a Parkstar 157 , ive rode it on Tamworth's Ice , Calshots carpet , Cairngorm Pow / park and Aldershots scaffholding, Its the Friggin mutts nuts , May be a confidence thing but since ive had it, ive come on leaps and bounds in the park, plus at newyear it floated well on the ride back down to cairngorms carpark , will let you know how it holds up in france and austria. |

| I ride a www 152 indoors. Its great fun for indoors but I don't think I'd take it on piste. Its very soft, but I'm about 12 stone so maybe the 155 would be better. |

| The WWW is a complete noodle. Theres next to no use for it outside of the park. Try and get a Parkstar. |

I've been riding a WWW on the mountain for the last 2 years. Its is a bit like soggy paper to be honest, but if you find powder it sits perfectly in it with its fat nose, plus if you're like me and dont just like pointing your stick down the hill and would rather find things to jump off on the way and mix thing up, its great fun. And when you hit the park f**k me it does all the work for you its so forgiving!
Everyone says you can't ride Jib on all mountain... these are usually people who have never tried lol!
Personally I'd go for the K2 Jibpan, its essentially the WWW but with a hard-on so its more stable at speed but but just as forgiving. |

Parkstar is a popular stick, more playful Darkstar (love my DS, very versitile). If you consider the weapon, don't forget about the effective edge so you want to be riding shorter than norm.
Agree with snow_cadet, the Jibpan is one sik machine, www on steroids + fast base. If I could find last seasons (prefer the graphics ) I'd snap it up
Hope you find a PStar
