Hi All,
Anyone been summer boarding at Zermatt in switzerland?
My partner & I are doing a summer road trip around europe over june/july, and im keen to head up to zermatt for maybe 1 or 2 days summer morning boarding sessions.
Just to try out summer boarding while we are here. (we are from NZ)
Anyone know if they hire out snowboards in the summer? And maybe pants?
As we're doing a summer roadie, we wont be taking our own snowboards, boots, gear etc, around the car everywhere (as we will be camping), so for just 1 or 2 days we would just want to hire.
Possible?

I have been in summer and have had an amazing time before... but I had all my own kit.
Zermatt is beautiful and well worth a visit even if you dont ride.

Hi, i live in zermatt and summer boardining here is pretty cool. A few shops still rent in the summer but the best is Dorzas Sport. Its at the lift station that takes u up over the lake and glacier to the board park. And yes, you can still hire boots, boards etc. I know the guy well so will get back to you about the pants.
