I don't know if any of you have the ARRRRRRDware to record video footage but I will be taking my helmet hero with me + my canon 1d mark II N with various lenses...
If people need some pictures... I may well be able to take them for you
Is anyone else a photographer making their way to the bash with their gear?
Or have a Hero HD? |

I'll be taking my Nikon D60. 18 - 55 and a 55 - 200 lens. Bit of an amateur really and will be trying to brush up on technique if I can find the time between shredding Can't bloody wait. |

I was considering getting one, what's a good one to get, not cheap n nasty but not expensive.
Also one that is built in storage and not a seperate storage device/battery pack. |

I'd dilemaed getting a "proper" camera but wouldnt be happy carrying it around and funds got a bit tight. I had been looking at the Canon 500D.
I would totally love some good pictures though!!!!
I will however be taking a Sanyo Xacti HD 720p CG10 camcorder though for pics and video. |

What lenses have you got...
Kinda depends on how much gear you want to take along side the 450d....
If its not much then possibly go for a sling bag of some kind... Possibly lowepro..
As for water proofing... generally you'll find that newer dslr's will be ok in a light shower and a tumble in the snow shouldn't be too bad on the poor thing. One thing you can do is while you are transporting the camera have a short lens on it. That way if you do take a tumble there's not so much leverage against the lens mount. |
