Hi,
I am looking for some new wrist guards and I see a lot of info coming up about these FlexMeter's. Has anyone got a pair of these? Are they any good? I broke my wrist recently and I am looking for some heavy duty guards to protect it whilst I am away this year after having the cast off.
Thanks, |

Hello, I'd defo recommend them. I've broken my wrist twice (once whilst wearing "normal" ones and the second time wearing biomex ones).
They've saved me on countless occasions and I'm so glad I have them.
Be prepared to buy a new pair of gloves as they're quite bulky. |

| I've got the double splint one's, as said a bit bulky you might have to go up a glove size but well worth it for the protection they give. |

| Vixen! Learn how to fall properly. Seriously, go to a judo class and ask them to teach you. |

As everyone said, they're great. I use them.
They sell them here: http://www.alpsgear.co.uk/ as wristguards+gloves combo. I intent to buy some for my bro's as crimbo presents. They are out of stock of all sizes except small but they intend to have new stock next week.
Happy boarding! |

yea i got mine from alps gear top service
i went for the double ones they seem really good, i am a beginnner/inter and they give me confidence.
The only thing i thought with the gloves was if you snag gloves or rio them then they are harder to replace having seperate means you can wear your own gloves etc bit cheaper |

iv had both the with and without gloves ones from alpsgear. Although they are massive! go for the with gloves version. The amount of time you save really is noticable if you have tried both.
I had also previously broken a wrist hense why i got these. I have slammed pretty hard wearing these and have yet to even sprain my wrists.
Well worth it but the size and design (non inbuilt into gloves version) can be a pain in the arse |
