Hi all,
Just looking for peopls opinions on the best media player for boarding and hols. Preferably mp4 rather than just mp3. Have been looking at the ipod classic, but with it being hard drive and not solid state memory slightly concerned over how well it will take falls and knocks.
All opinions welcome.
Thanks |

One you don't mind getting knocked and bashed around.
I love my Sony Walkman. Easy to use with clunky buttons. 4GB too so can fit over 2000 songs on it. |

| Never had a problem using an iPod on the slopes before and they've all taken their fair share of knocks... |

probably safe to assume you will have your mobile phone with you.
does that not have some memory and the abililty to play mp3's as well.
My n97 does most of the things i need without me needing to take a dedicated mp3 player out with me |

As long as you don't mind not having a screen to see what tracks you're playing then an iPod Shuffle is great - small with no moving parts, long battery life, controls on the headphone cord so you can leave it in your pocket and it'll speak you the song name and artist or playlist your listening to.
