Yo! Im off to snozone glasgow with three mates on Sunday for lessons. Im just wondering if they have big lockers I can stick my bag in while Im doing the lessons and the board while I do lunch? Or should I just turn up in full gear, board in my hand and get on with it?
Cheers guys! |

| The locker will not take a board and will cost £1 which is non returnable, your board will be ok on one of the racks at the entrance to the slope. Depends where you are heading for lunch of course, if you are going outside xscape then put it back in the car. |

If your on lessons your instructor might let you stash your board behind the rental counter, braehead is pretty safe to leave your board in the rack in the dome tho.
A locker will take a board bag rolled up and some clothes no worries.
If you can ride already I wouldnt get your hopes up as the main slope is like sugar mountain at the moment, so so slow |

| If you don't fancy leaving your board on the rack at the entrance to the slope while you have lunch, Nondos have a rack in there that you can use. |

Thanks for the info guys! Im there tomorrow for my first lessons. Ive splashed out on all the gear and a SCUK membership so Im going to make the best of it.
I wont worry about the slope being 'slow' since I cant board too well yet. Although its ironic that Im going back to braehead again to re-start my snowboarding as it was that place that put me off last year. We'd been up some mountain in Scotland the day before and I was getting the hang of it. Two goes on the slope at braehead and whacking my back after hitting a bald patch twice royally p1ssed me off!
So here we go, can't wait for tomorrow now! Im just hoping the weather doesnt stop us getting there |

Well thanks for the info guys, went through to Braehead yesterday and all was well.
I can now officially snowboard (a bit!). We did the first four levels in the one day. Im aching all over but now I have my board set up right, I can sideslip on both edges, jump about on the board a bit and do a 180 and I can link turns all the way down the slope. We had a fantastic (and very pretty ) instructor called Kerry who helped me a lot (including sorting my board out and teaching me an alternative way to turn) so a big big thanks to her!
Im chuffed to bits, I think Im going to like this snowboarding thing |
