Good morning,

Looking to take my better half away for a weeks boarding at Xmas leaving on the 19th December. Just wondering if anyone has suggestions of somewhere in France that will be reasonably cheap?

Trip is a warm up for the Bash in January. Looking for the holy grail of a cheap, snowsure resort with plenty of pistes. Have already looked at the usual holiday company websites and not seen anything hugely cheap yet.

Cheers

Si

Chamonix can be done pretty cheaply. I'd be going myself over Christmas, but I can't prise any of my friends away from the "traditional family Christmas" idea.

I costed a holiday for 256 quid for the week of the 19th -26th December - staying in a hostel, and flying into Genevea

Thats flights, transfers and accommodation.

Lift pass and food (and drink) would be the only other costs. I tend to make good use of the hostel kitchen with the occassional meal out. Works out very cheap
