Just a reminder about two things:
1) All questions about equipment should be posted in this forum - 'Equipment and Media'.
I just spent 20 minutes moving threads and I don't want to be doing it every day!
2) Please use the search function, there are a lot of threads about buying boards, boots, bindings etc at this time of year and somebody has probably asked the same/similar question as you. The same goes for everything across the forums.
So search before you post, people are more likely to give you an answer if they haven't answered the same question 3 times already that day!
Thanks |

Just to let people know that the search function is at the top of the forum e.g. look above the title 'Questions about what you should buy?' |

Bravo Charlie,
This is something i've been wondering about for a while... with so many threads asking "What X should i buy?". Why the mods/regulars don't tell people to use the search feature more often. It is a tad annoying to see the same question over and over again getting the same answers over and over again!
Just one note about searching, remember and use the logic operators people
e.g. "salomon AND boots" when looking for salomon boots.
and when looking for a couple of brands of something eg "salomon OR burton AND boots"
at least i'm pretty sure that's how it works.. |

infact hold on there is no need for the search function i have the answers here:
RE Boots - "Go to a shop, get your feet measured and try as many pairs on as possible, buy the ones that feel tight but not uncomfortable"
RE Boards - "Get yourself to a dome/demo day and try as many as possible pick the one you like, If your heavier buy a longer board, if your ligther buy a shorter board, if your in pow regularly buy longer, if your in park regularly buy shorter, don't buy a board because the graphics are pretty!" |
