Last years Bash was my first, and I thought it was incredibly understated and well behaved (though the sight of James' gold pants on the quiz night has scarred me for life) - certainly not a parody of a 'Bash' week I'd heard/read about in previous years and was expecting.

Maybe people are just growing out of it, or were too tired from riding the amazing conditions Tignes had out there to indulge in nekkid-flashing..!

And shirley the point of such promotion is to attract people into joining - any passing Brits (let alone the Tignes locals) would've probably seen it all before anyway, and wouldn't care less about it. It would probably get more outside people talking if everyone just had a SCUK sticker/bib/branded item on, as the more they see the name on loads of people the more their likely to ask what's going on. Then you hit them with the details.

I'm not sure how somebody who has never been to the Bash can say the Bash is a parody of itself. We do have the one Pub Quiz night, which has and should get out of hand, but the rest of the time it's all about the riding. I tend to think of it as a holiday with mates you might not have met yet.

Guess people where well behaved this time because it was darn expensive at £5 a pint!
Ah we did a Chinese downhill on the first bash, the last slope section before the yeti.

I went on the first bash to Alpe d'Huez.

We kicked the ass out of it on the hill and in te bar. Good times.

Are Alan (lostitin1982) or something, Scottish G, G McHugh and Ben Shaw on here still?

A Chinese Downhill is certainly a possibility for the SCUK Bash. The Red Bull Home Run is always a scream at The Brits and they go down well at the SnowDome whenever they kick off.

Not sure where we should start, but the Loop Bar is the obvious finishing point.

Let's do it!

Ok then if the Loop is the end then i guess the start would have to be at the top of teh AeroSki lift! although that means going full steam down farily steep and usually very solid black run!!

Nope but Ben and Graham turned up in the bar one day at least years bash!

If you want to finish the race at the Loop then that piste down form the Aeroski is a killer, soooo fast at the bottom will sure seperate the men from the boys! Or could make it mellower and use Palafour instead, cue loads of mad running across thre flat at the bottom to get to the bar......

if you made the race down the from the Aeroski Rob will just get lost in his off piste hole again and spend an hour digging himself out.....

My how we laughed... for the first 30 minutes anyway, then thought we'd better send somebody to check on you.

Palafour or Aeroski. We can always decide on the day, but I suggest we leave it until last lifts like at The Brits just to make sure it's a little safer for other road users!
