haha..only kidding (kind of) i was playing with autoroute the other day and the scuk open slope map to plan as many slopes from MK and back again in the time frame... leaving enough time for riding and avoiding some of the random out the way slopes that would kill to much time to get to...
one to watch i reckons..

Dunx have you had much interest away from this thread as its a bit quiet on here I thought there would have been loads of interest?
With regards to the starting point I live in Lancashire but am happy to start in MK.
I think the only fesible way of doing it is to get a load of us together and get a minibus so we can share out the fuel costs and driving... Anyone own one of those luxury coaches the rock bands use? |

I'm finally catching up with you Craig.... oooo
For those of you who don't know much about Snow Camp or the Rally itself, it starts out in Xscape Milton Keynes on Thursday 19th Nov and over three days the various teams attempt to visit as many of the UK's 43 artificial and indoor snow slopes as possible arriving back at Xscape MK by 7pm Saturday 21st November.
Snow-Camp is a youth charity established in 2003 to provide disadvantaged young people from London’s inner-city areas with the chance to experience snow sports. As well as offering the opportunity to learn to ski or snowboard, the Snow-Camp includes a youth focused Life-skills course designed to enable young people to reflect on the key issues that impact their lives.
As the charity works in partnership with inner-city community projects, youth organisations and schools working long term with underprivileged young people a Snow-Camp week can be built into ongoing work with young people, rather than being a one-off experience. Youth workers from each partner project accompany their young people, ensuring that both a key relationship is in place with those attending and that learning can be built on back in London.
I have personally spoken to one of the directors of Snow-Camp, Dan Charlish, who told me that currently they’re just a small team but he has aspirations to expand their services to the rest of the UK.
So if you can spare a donation in this current climate please visit my just giving page below or Craig Nixon's and donate what you can.
