Watched B Movie last night, it was Ok, it just felt like they were told "You must have fun or we will hurt you!...HAVE FUN" by someone..if that makes sense.
Best bit was the Nicolas Muller section.
But the EST bit made me a little bit sick in my mouth
Electro by Alterna is pretty sick, cool vibe and some big name riders, pretty heavy on the BC backcountry and some park sessions, no real jibbing to speak of.
Have to say i almost prefere it to Black Winter, which really didnt impress me as much as previous efforts (Draw the Line being one of the best)

When it comes to snowboarding films, the one that came with last months Whitelines - th Absinthe behind the scenes film - has actually annoyed me. I don't know who else saw it, but no one actually seemed to enjoy the process too much. Now I know when you do something like that, it's bound to be more business than anything else, but no one seemed to be enjoying themselves, apart from Nicolas Muller. Wolle Nyvelt seemed moody the whole way through, and I lost a lot of respect for JP Solberg cos he just came across as a whiny git!
Wolle just wants to get it done and not have a camera shoved in his face first thing in the morning -
The flipside stuff shows what a pain in the arse it is to make a 120 second video part.
Even on a week long holiday things can get fractious with my mates -imagine that over the whole season coupled with loads of travel and the stress of trying to find the rights shots.
One of the most interesting bits was seeing hostenyk's views on contests - coupled with KP skipping the X-trail (which he had a damn good chance of wining) to go on a backcountry trip that was disastrous resulting in no shots.

Flipside.
Apparantly it was available on iTunes in episodes, but it must just be the US iTunes, because I couldn't find it. It really enjoyed it too.
I also thought it was quite funny how Romain has changed (or perhaps not) that they always had this image of him being the crazy wild man in his early Uninc days. Yet he is now settled down and even has a daughter... perhaps this is why Burton dropped him! heh
What's with Wolle's eyes as well?
The black circles he has around them are ridiciolous... looks like he as been on some kind of constant major bender.

i saw the forum video last week, lots of street wall rides. Some of the sections seemed a little short from some of the riders but still definitely worth a watch. Some of the Young Bloods are pushing it just as hard as the pro team...
Also take a look at this one, its from Camp Of Champions by Variety Pack... pretty fun watch.

Anyone know where I can get a copy of 'Let's Go Get Lost' in the UK?
Really enjoyed Neverland, got Black Winter but not watched it yet, and thought the flipside doc on Whitelines was really good but what a pain in the a**e it looks to make one of these films. Six hr waits at the helipad, what the funk?!
Now I can see why these dvd's tend to be under an hour long.

Sweet.
Isenseven emailed me about premieres and their new clothing range at the exact same time you posted that msg. Spooky.
I'll keep my eyes peeled and my ear to the ground. Ta
