Well, two years since we heard anything and even that was third hand. I can't imagine any such projects are finding it easy at the moment and if this place has to go through as many hoops as projects like SnOasis, then we're looking at 5+ years before anything will be ready to snowboard on I'd reckon.

"It also includes a dry ski slope, a 4x4 driving experience, two lakes for watersports and recreation, equine facilities, an indoor leisure centre and the generation of renewable energy from a wind farm."

Cue planning rejection followed by appeal ad infinitum.

Dry slope? thats abit of a downer but if it gets the go ahead sound like a canny place to spend a weekend.
