Me and turns have been having issues. Namely heel to toe edge. I know 99% of my problem was looking at the board when turning instead of up and where I want to go. But even having sorted that, there was still something missing.

Looked on here for some wise words and found a post where a girl mentioned going from toe to heel - imagine your going to the loo in a portaloo at a festival and go into the 'hover' position. For heel to toe - the one I have a particular issue with - she mentioned imagining your a bloke going for a wee. It was a slice of advice i admit i thought was slightly on the fringe of mentalist but I was at the point of desperation.

I went on Friday and thought what the hell... no one knows what I'm thinking when I turn. So from heel to toe, imagined i was a bloke taking a wee and apart from me laughing to myself which to be fair probably wasn't a good look when you're clearly on your own - it only bloomin well worked!! I had more clear runs than ever and better turns all night. Might have been more to do with people giving me a wide berth - seeing me laughing to myself, assuming I was just glad to be away from my social carer for a couple of hours.

So thanks to the girl who posted that advice on here - I have trawled the site but cant seem to find the post - you know who you are and THANK-YOU..!! Very Happy

Ah... the widely used 'humping and dumping' technique! Very Happy

Combine it with the 'Elvis leg' and you're unstoppable!

Well done chick! Thumbs Up
