I had a bit of a disaster this morning with a white plastic piece falling off my bindings (K2 Indys) whilst I was riding at Tam. Being white I've not been able to find it and I can't find anywhere that list spare parts for bindings on the web.
Why is it so hard to find spare parts for bindings as I would imagine that they would be wanted fairly frequently.
If anyone can recommend anywhere that I could get the bits or if anyone has any spares lying around that I could buy it would be much appreciated.
You can see the missing parts at http://www.flickr.com/photos/plumsie/sets/72157620532778381/

| have you tried contacting K2 directly? i'm sure they'd be only too happy to pop a replacement in the post, although i've not dealt directly with K2 before most of the companies i have requested small bits from have come through... |

I've mailed K2 Direct. I'm hoping that they will come through with the parts even if I have to pay for them.
I was just hoping someone might know of somewheer that I could order them as I need my board again on wednesday so I haven't got long to get the parts.
If I am lucky K2 will sort it out first thing tomorrow morning and I will be riding again on wednesday on a repairede set of bindings.
If not I may just hav to bodge it until I can get the bits. |

TSA normally have all sorts of spare parts bits like that. Same sort of piece fell out of my Romes and they had a box full of stuff.
I rode with it Zip Tied on for the rest of the night with some lift pass zip ties. |

| have you tried a shop? they tend to sort these kind of things. head down to your local snowboarder run shop and they will be able to sort you out. yea TSA have good spares packages. |

Tried the TSA at Tam, they had nothing compatible but did offer to order parts for me.
With it being sunday by the time I had tried mailing K2 most of the shops were closing. The other problem is that a lot of the snowboard shops don't have much stock as it is summer so getting parts is harder.

Just wanted to say a big Thank You! to all the guys at Subvert at Chill Factor e for sorting me out.
Got some spares for some Ride bindings which are keeping me going and the spares have been ordered from K2 with no charge.
