If you get bad weather like we did head to St Martin D Beleville its nice and low bellow clouds there was some reasonable off piste there as well. The Park over in Courcheval was pretty good.

Dont go down the long run to Les Menuires from VT its slow and fairly flat.

Quite enjoyed the long run down to Merbiel that runs in the bottom of the Meribal Valley good for practising switch

I can vouch for this. I walked back to Les Menuires from VT last season when I twisted by knee. I remember walking uphill at one point!

its all about the 4th valley (Orrell)

Seriously good off piesting when the snows good and long and fast runs with few people on compared to the rest of VT

Drop of the back of the cine caron (big cable car) and head to the right of the black run into the valley, or take the main lift up to the summit and instead of following the signs to the right and along the flat section through the peak head left back towards VT about 50m then skip over the wall and you get a drop in to the hidden valley, its pretty steep and I would advise a slow run before bombing it down but its pretty exciting and people always stop on the pieste to watch you drop in so no pressure. Finally skip under the ropes at the top of the last Orrell lift and stay as far right as you can until you see the drop in (to the right is cliffs and lots of hidden rocks, trust me!)

Alt i always enjoyed riding down to the lake from the Bosmint lift, head right off the lift and then walk up the ridge at the peak you then drop into another valley to a lake and can rde all the way through to the bottom lift

*please note all these runs are off pieste and should only be undertaken if you feel safe, are in a group and conditions allow

I had some hairy moments during my season in VT which I would not wish on anyone

Ride safe and enjoy Wink
