We're in the same field as last year. Directions here:
www.snowboardclub.co.uk/events-sb09.html#directions
If you can bring some firewood do, but as we're guests in the farmer's field, we're only allowing a single bonfire.
I'll have a box full of SCUK hoodies and other stuff for those that want to buy something.
We have an interesting collection of prizes to give away over the weekend from Burton, Westbeach, Santa Cruz and Blueskin.
Remember your SCUK Membership Cards. We'll draw one out of the hat at half time on Saturday and one lucky winner will get a free stay at the SCUK Winter Bash.
If you're a SCUK Member and pre-book Saturday's snowboarding at the SnowDome you'll get 4 hours for just £16!!
People tend to turn up from midday onwards. DJ ROBster is planning to arrive mid-afternoon. I hope to be there late afternoon.
If you need food on arrival, there's a massive ASDA on the main Tamworth exit off the A5. |

That all sounds great! But ...4 hours? Is a session in Tam really that long? I didn't think it was!
..Is this night longer than most? |

That was a local fire for local people. Silly thing was it wasn't far from the main fire, but if they find it hard to understand people from foreign places I guess it makes sense for them all to stick together and not talk to anybody else... |

I've added directions from the north, but basically M6 south, take the A5 before the M6 Toll starts, along the A5 for miles, then off at the A453 to the roundabout where you take the 1st exit on to Plantation Lane, 2nd right in to Hicks Lane.
I did this from the Google Map link as I don't live in Tamworth. I do have a degree in geography though and may be over-estimating other people's ability to read maps... |
