yo man, yeah your right most shops have got bugger all in stock this time of year now

but just to let you know we will be having our 2009/2010 stock in soon in TSA and we will have the majority of our bindings in demo. so u can try a range out and see what suits you best.

my tip is dont go for something your mate has or something someone recomends as that might be wicked for them but not neccessarily right for you.

And definatley look at smaller brands like flux or union as they offer a lot more for your money compared to your bigger more corperate brands such as burton ride k2 etc

just pop into a store and ask about demo stuff and try some out for yourself man!

K2 Formula or Auto are money. Raiden 0 and Wiig aren't bad either. Salomon Chiefs are good too.

thanks a lot for that. i bought my board from the TSA at xscape in mk and the guy there was spot on and did say that a lot of new stock will be coming in soon. so i may just stick to the rental boards till the new stock comes in.

If it helps, I'm looking for bindings and after a fair bit of reading the consensus seems to be Union Forces, K2 Auto or Rome Targas for all mountain freestyle (from what I've seen so far at least).

For 09/10, the Forces are £170, Autos £150 and I ahven't seen a price for the Targas yet. (Last season they were selling around £180 and there may be anything up to a 30% price increase over last year...)

Hope that helps!

Salomon's Relay Pro's are still the best bindings I have ridden and would recommend checking them out. However they do have the worst washers in the world and the bindings come loose alot Razz But they are worth the hassle! you could proberly buy some better washers if you cba with it Smile

Just dont buy FLOW Very Happy

Another vote for Salomon Relays, the Pros are prob the best match for your board. I've been riding the Thrusters for the past 2 years and they are the most comfortable bindings I've tried, never had any washer problems.

Relays are terrible. I can't believe I rode them for almost two seasons. They lack so much feel and precision you might as well ride old school Flows.

I'm riding the '08 K2 Autos and I like them a lot.

The toe strap tightens itself when you do up the heel strap, so strapping in & out is a bit quicker and a bit less hassle - ideal if you're sessioning a short run (or you're at Xscape).

Nice feel and plenty adjustable too.

Only downside is mine are starting to fray a bit on the highback, where I push my back foot in and out.
