Hi Guys
Looking for some comments/advice here.
Looking at getting a new board and after loads of searching i've whittled down to these two:
Used Ride DH 08/09 model - 157 £180
New Stepchild Simon Chamberlain Pro 07 model -158 £165
I'm fairly intermediate and looking to progress quick. Been recently doing a fair amount of rails/kickers and jumps but also want a board that I can go down the mountain carving.
I'm not so fussed about going down a mountain with loads of speed and unlikely to go off-piste and into powder too much, mainy ticking to the slope and then hitting the park or pipe when I get the chance.
From reviews it sounds like the Ride DH is going to give me everything I want but also the Stepchild. Only thing about the stepchild i've read is that it can be a little wobbly when grabbing air.
I've read good things about the Ride DH on here but anyone got experience with Stepchild boards?
Cheers

Wouldnt have though it would be weak on landings as its one of the stiffer boards in the range. Anyways that will probably be off 50ft+ kickers.
I rode my powder sucks of 35-40ft jumps in 2 alpes in summer and it was fine, and its towards the softer end of the range.
