Listen to danish_and_pretzels: Wait until shops have the new seasons bindings in and then demo some. You might be itching to get some bindings on your new board but you want to make the right decision right?
Unfortunately if you ask on here the majority of people will just tell you what they have so you have to take any advice with a pinch of salt |

You haven't ridden anything else in so long you've forgotten what responsive bindings are like. Even Benedek doesn't ride them anymore because they blow so hard. |

Possibly, but I dont find them unresponsive or feel they limit my riding. Also, im very fond of the footbed and the wire system that allows the heel strap to lock into your ankle when you do them up.
What would you recommend? Im getting a second setup next season, all I know so far is the board will be the Bataleon funkink, still unsure on what bindings, or boots for that matter. |

The soft heelcup doesn't hold well for jibs and mutes feel.
For a jib setup go with Rome 390s or K2 Formulas. |

| For jib yes. The Targas are better, but they're too stiff to properly tweak tricks (unless you're a very good or physical rider). |

| I recommend checking out 2010 Union Forces (best bindings I've ever ridden) and the 2010 Forum Shakas which are super fun too. 2010 Union Contacts were fun but both the Shakas and the Forces put a bigger smile on my face. |

| Unions have rubbish toe straps and the ankle strap spits bolts. Not terribly impressed. |

| I rode the 2010 Unions at CoC in Whistler. I rode them for 2 and a half weeks solid from 8:30 to 2:30 and I had no problems with them at all. The comfiest and best performing bindings I've come across. The green ones look sick too. I couldnt ask for much else - a good looking, good performing, comfy set of bindings. |

| Well if you like them then buy them. I'll be sticking with my K2s. |

now then Rob, I asked the same question last year when I got my Darkstar and I tried all sorts of set ups. As Charliebuoy says its all individual but here's what I opted for in the end and can't fault either:
Salomon Chiefs for messin around in the park but my 390's go with me on hols every time |
