yeah, i htink its easer on dryslope

the best way 2 learn is if you start off doing a 270 turn we you go 2 butter you momentum takes u into it alot more

just play around, try them clock/anitclockwise, nose/tail and then u will become a buttering machine Smile

Perma snow can defo be buttered but a lot of effort has to go in to the spin out. Dendix is more difficult to butter but as you lower the down slope edge it really catches to help you spin out (hurts to practice and cock up though Wrecked ).

If I'm confusing the meaning of a butter spin please forgive me!

Dry slope? what surface?

Its harder, just as its harder to ride on the stuff! Although it is possible. You just have to put your back into it

Also it totally depends on what you actually want to do. Theres a whole world of buttering to speak of!

Hello! Some threads I found while searching:

http://www.snowboardclub.co.uk/PNphpBB2 ... -8252.html

http://www.snowboardclub.co.uk/PNphpBB2 ... 17353.html

I'm sure there are more to be found. Funnily enough I was trying this technique last time at the Freestyle night at Hemel...and I'm sure i'l be trying it again at the next Smile

Just done a few 90 fs nose butter today at Hillend(dendix). It's much easier to spin the butter towards downhill(if u know what i mean Confused) you get more momentum.

Has anyone done a full 360 butter on dry? That would be very hard.
