Hi y'all, just a quickie - is there anyone out there in forum world going to the blue tomato camp in Schladming 14th-21st may? I'm booked on it and i've not been before so i'm not sure what to expect really . Also, due to the rest of my buddies having no holidays or money left i'm all on my own too . Would be nice to get to know anyone who is going before hand...
If anyone knows much about this camp or summer camps in general and feel they want to give feedback (good or bad) then please do.
Cheers,
Andy |

You can get to it through the blue tomato website (www.blue-tomato.com), then click the 'camp' link for all the info. There's some pretty cool photos of the park setup and info on the place and all the guides etc...
I looked into the norway summer camp mentioned in the SCUK news, that looks cool too. If i enjoy this B-T camp (which i'm sure i will) then i might have to see about going to norway too.
I'm addicted aren't I... |

Nah, the B-T camp is in Austria, on the dachstein glacier. Fly into munich or salzburg then train to schladming. I'm getting from manchester to schladming and back agin for about £215 i think (depends on exchange rates and german train ticket prices).
Manchester to oslo is pretty reasonable too, only £120 return. Flights from london airports seem to be cheaper still and more frequent. Damn you southerners!!! I've found the cheapest flights come up on pricerunner.co.uk, good site.
Didn't realise there's so many different summer riding places, there's just not enough summer to do them all! |
