Just wanted to say a BIG THANKS to all involved in making this years' Bash so fantastic, especially to John Dragon who went way above and beyond the call of duty all week and when the unexpected happened, but hey, the closure of Geneva airport through too much snow made for an awesome week of pow, and all came good in the end. A great week was had and I can't wait to tell everyone about it.

Can't wait til next year, hope its in Tignes again!!

Yes I agree.

Due to Geneva airport closing on our arrival day John from dragon lodge had 100 people turning up at random airports at random times! and we still all got there due to him rearranging and sorting transfers. I believe he stayed up for 24 hours ATLEAST to make sure everyone got there and into apartments-flippin legend!.
I was one of 2 people who he took to get extra bedding at 1.30am!!!!!!!!!!! on arrival day as we needed a blanket-now come on he is ace! Very Happy .

The homebound journey went wrong due to road closure!! hardly a fore seeable problem! At the end of the day I had the best holiday I have ever had. The freestyle coaching day was ace. Thankyou to all my scuk buddies for making such an amazing holiday Cool

Gina it was great to see you too. How many times did you visit easy jet check in desk Razz Very Happy

High five John Very Happy x

John sorted me and Charlie out for our week in the lodge before the bash and made sure we were sorted out when we moved in to our apartment..he even carried my board bag up 4 flights of stairs!!!

I'm actually ashamed to say i just realized that i never got him a drink for helping me and charlie out!!
Sorry John, i'll get you one next time i'm out there!!!

Big thanks to Dunx, Stu and the SCUK Team, Niki, The Loop Bar Crew and the Dragon Lodge possie for everything they did to sort us all out for the best Winter Bash yet!!!

CHEERS GUYS!!!!!!!

I echo your sentiments rob, the whole team behind this years bash did an awesome job and it was the best yet, great resort, people, places and the food in the loop was amazing, great value for money...

I would say it's a shame the parks weren't open sooner, but it gave me a proper chance to try some pow, which turned out to be very painful for my back leg riding a 151 park board, which is softer than a dairylea cheese triangle...

Oh and big up Katy (Boardchic) for stepping up to the plate and helping sort our transfer out on the way out there, good god that driver really was the stereotypically unhelpful frenchie!

I only have one complaint about the last couple of weeks, and that is Glenn making me drink Absinth and losing me twelve hours of my life Smile

I have the same complaint Nick haha, that guy is dangerous to be in a bar with! All in all it was a bloody awesome couple of weeks, it's a shame I didn't get to meet more of the newer people but it appears I was too busy to do much other than shred! John Dragon is a top bloke and the guys that work for him are brilliant, cheers guys Smile

On the last leg of my journey home, had a cracking time and John and the rest of the guys did a superb job all week. Riding with him and some of the guys from the lodge was a highlight of the week....as well as elastic band tug of war clearly.

Glad I went on the train tho!

Cheers,

Si
