Although i didnt go on the bash, when i heard about the weather last weekend, i though this is going to be a feck up of the highest order, since i used to work as an illegal Taxi Driver in Val/Tignes, and most of mine, and about 10 others of us with cars, business came from when tour companies hired us to get them out of the sh!t when transfers/flights go tits up.
Tignes is the worst resort to be going to if the weather gets nasty, as its the furthest from the airports, and has single lane all the way from moutiers which often leads to coaches taking 8 hours to get to Lyon/Geneva.
The reason i never go on things like this is that given the variables, the cheap as chips price, and the amount of people, and varying skill levels its always going to be compromised - i actually think that for you guys to have had any sort of decent holiday given the situation is a credit to the organisers. The last week must have been every organisers nightmare
If you ever get caught in a similar situation, the first thing you should do is get hold of a rep from another company and see if you can get on one of their coaches for slipping them 40 euros or so, and if that not a possibility as if they know any english seasoinaires willing to do the transfers i their cars, any good rep will have a number of people they know who will do this - and most will charge 250 euros for the transfer.
I would be pretty pissed of if i had been in some of the situations outlined, but unfortunately given the nature of the events around the holiday the organisers would have been buggered from the off.

I was on the same transfer as mini and missed my flight that meant I missed going to my mates wedding reception, I managed to get on another flight to Edinburgh and got a lift home from another basher, cheers Kirsty.
It was an eventful last day but the whole trip was a great and i got to ride with some top people and I would definitely go again. John Dragon done a great job and a big thanks from me.

Right a couple of people have asked me to unlock this thread so they can have there say about how good its was and what a good job John and the guys did, but this can still turn in to a slagging match which is not productive.
Mini has had his say and several people and responded.
i'll leave is up for others to read!
If you want to say how good it was it was there are other threads to do this in,
if you want to make other comments then dont just say how crap you though it was, have a quiet word with one of the organizers first
