So basilically they've merged a dry ski slope (which is crap for snowboarding) and a static wave (which is crap for surfing) in the hope of making something good?

it does look good fun,u will need more than gloves to protect u when u fall tho!!

Why dont they just knock a few of the indoor wave machines for surfing/wakeboarding practice, like they have in the states, its called a flowrider, there is one in a skate shop in the florida mall.

WTF..who told you that dryslope was crap for snowboarding?

dryslope is the backbone of UK riding and is the main reason we've got so many riders competing at international levels

Jamie Nichols, Sam Cullum, Jenny Jones etc etc all started on dryslope

just cus your crap at dryslope doesn't make dryslope crap for snowboarding Laughing

Ive seen that flowrider in florida. Looks soo much fun. The wave shape is all padded so it doesnt hurt if you fall too.

dryslope isnt crap, but it aint great either, regardless if it 'was' the backbone. It burns like hell and ruins clothes, bindings and boards.

no one told me dude, its based on my own opinon of riding dryslopes.

Whats your opinon of me being crap based on, we've never met and as far as I know we've never riden together????

The point of my post was to question the requirement of a practice based on two already questionable "original alternatives". It wasnt to slate dryslopes.

don't have a benny

i wasn't specifically calling you crap, i was defending the virtues of dryslope, which you attacked when making your point about the oversized boot polishing brush.

and highlighting that the main reason that peeps think dryslope's crap is that they find it hard to ride, even international pro's have ridden dryslope and been amazed how the uk has progressed with a surface that is so hard to master.

no dryslope isn't as good as snow, but with until fairly recently only 1 dome in the country was the only choice...and is still the best financial choice if you want to ride in the UK all year and still progress...

watch standing sideways or broken thumbs and see the tricks that people are laying down on dryslope....it ain't crap

and i'm sure your a wonderful rider, who in no way is crap Wink

i however am a crap rider despite riding for over 15 years, but still think dryslope rocks...specifically manky old dendix, that is to thin and has wire sticking out to knacker your board...thats hardcore Rolling Eyes
