| Ooops, yup Rob mentioned this and I haven't had a look yet. Stu normally deals with ads and he's away for a couple of weeks. I might have to get my hands dirty again. |

in fact if you pay your membership you shouldn't have to see it..
it's all the freeloaders on the site that cause the problem |

Except we get paid per view.
I can't even work out what the admin log in is for the banner software, so trying to contact Stu in Bali or wherever he's swanned off to in our busiest month! |

| I just fired up my spare PC, which has no banner blockers on it. The Navy ad works fine there in IE6. Is this still an issue for people? |

I think its just the fact its really, really annoying dunx
For example, I tend to view the site by opening a sh1t load of windows in firefox and then clicking as mark everything read.
So when I go to close a window, the banner pops up.
If you're navigating via the drop down boxes (in firefox at least), the drop down box appears behind the roll banner (see attachment for how it looks)

Is that the Navy ad we're talking about? I've not seen that one.
This is the problem we've seen before and is down to the developers of the ads. It's a real pain. |

i think an ad free forum for members could be a good idea.
This navy advert is actually affecting the functionality of the website.
The ads down the side dont bother me too much or the bottom., i am turning back on Adblock on firefox in the mean time. |

| I don't see them anyway! They've told me they're looking into this ad for me to get it fixed. If Stu was here he'd now how to exclude it, but he's away and I haven't got a clue (generally). Apologies for the inconvenience though and hopefully resolved soon. |
