When i get my new board on sat i want to add a stencil job, and as its my first one im not sure what type of paint to use, any ideas.

And i cut my design from acetates, secure it to my board and spray from a far so it doesn't run, yes?

dunno bout that, i use fabric paint and a brush 'cos i've got a denim top sheet

who's to say what a "normal" top sheet though? In the Wild West all the cowboys used to have denim topsheets as they found they lasted a lot longer with such a rough-and-tumble lifestyle

Its a burton bullets' top sheet, so not really sure. But how many Wild West cowboys do you know that went snowboard in there spear time?

You need to laquer it afterwards I reckon - to stop the paint from chipping off

yup, go buy some 3m stencil mount spray - it's sticky enough to hold the acetate but won't leave black sh*t all over your board like normal gluey stuff and it makes sure all the edges are flush with your board so that you don't get any bleed

I guess you're using PC print outs stuck to acetate to make yer stencils rather than freehanding them, right? Makes them look alot slicker.....

I work with copiers so ill do it that way and its all free!!! Where can i get that 3m stencil stuff from?
