Its was a tongue in cheek comment following up my previous comment of 'feck the avi risk' where everyone gets all so so so serious.

Fair enough if you made a joke,it just did'nt come across like that and when it comes to Avalanches and the ratings right now (Extreme) i'm gonna stay ''so so so serious'' about the whole thing as it is life and death my friend

4 awesome days riding, rediculous amounts of snow.
I tested the snowpark across at harmony today and there is a definate weak spot maybe a foot and a half deep with heavier snow on top. I wouldnt be going too far out of bounds without all the gear or even at all.
Hope everyone is having a blast

It is just a bit unstable now beause we got so much snow so quicky and its a bit heavier than what is underneah. In the long run once it all settles and packs down its going to be a great base. Way better than last year.

Love the comment about sinking to your armpits on the avi advisory!

The intense storm that hammered our region with high winds and heavy snowfall over the past several days has now abated. A total of 142 cm of snow fell since Sunday morning. In any wind loaded areas the foot penetration is up to your armpits, with ski penetration to your waist resulting in major wallowing in gentle terrain. Winds were gusting to 120kph at and below the treeline last night, uprooting hundreds of trees adding to the heinous travel conditions. Best to stay inbounds until after the next storm cycle passes and the storm snow layers have had a chance to settle a bit.

I do! Wishing I'd done my season this year. That said there were some bang on days last season as well, especially in March and April.

Is it whistlerimmigration who you saw about your visa? I might have a chat with them in January, see what they can do for us.

I'd buy you a pitcher to follow through on that plan.
