Great chance to own an excellent board that all the head pro team ride this board perform's well with anything you throw at it...
spec:
The top of the Head Transit I. Team Snowboard looks like a really cool old-school photo scrapbook of your family’s history. That is if your family was on a TV show in the 1950s. But the Transit is all of this generation. You can tell that when you see Jukka Eratuli and Per Loken dropping in with this under them….well, or above them. 2008’s Head Transit I. Team Snowboard is a real twin freestyle board that’s totally geared for the park.
* INTELLIFIBRES- It all started as technology developed to reduce vibrations while increasing the thrust of helicopter rotor blades. Head thinks the snowboard application is even better. Cruising at slower speeds the board reacts neutrally. The harder you push the speed and the more vibrations you create, the more energy is generated by the Intellifibers™. This energy is captured and fired back to the fibers in five-thousandths of a second so they stiffen up and increase torsional stability. This means that you can power into a turn and hold an edge like you’re on rails and get stability when you’re going flat out.
* I.CT CHIP SYSTEM- For total technology geeks looking for the ultimate Head also put Intellifiber and a microchip into the Intelligence i.CT. The chip amplifies the energy before it fires back. The effect on the board’s performance is like turning up the volume on your favorite download. Pretty exciting stuff. EDGE DEFENDER- Think about a bulletproof jacket that feels like a T-shirt. That’s the kind of protection our Edge Defender delivers to a board. This is an additional Titanal Edge that’s embedded into the board to help keep it from delaminating or deforming, even when it comes in contact with the inevitable pounding in the park and pipe. And it does all this protecting without you knowin
* INTELLIGENCE SIDEWALL EMBLEM - Look for the Intelligence sidewall di-cut or print on the outside—so you’ll know that the Intelligence Technology is on the inside. Because if you have Intelligence in your board you’re going to have excellence on the hill. MULTIPLE SIDEWALL DESIGN- Head will use any means possible to add lively performance to a board. This includes integrating ABS into the sidewalls. This is why this board features sidewall construction. The ABS in the sidewall guarantees a better power transmission and has a smoothing effect.
* FREEFLEX RAIL - The only truly free stance positioning on the market. No increments, no insert-puzzle. Adjust your stance without having to remove your binding. Free-floating construction enables the board to flex without insert stress points in the base. The FREEFLEX rail gives it the necessary freedom to create a round and harmonic flex, improving edge grip and manoeuvrability.
* Technology in Tip and tail, Multiple Sidewall Construction, Carbon Kevlar torsion frame and power center wood core, Radial Sidecut. Real Twin Shape, Sintruded IS4600 Base, Slick Grind 10

yeah 10mm = 1cm....
you get too hung up on it...get some smaller boots...haha..seriously what do you wear markland..a low profile boot with a uk 10 footprint would open up a whole new world of boards |

| Are they an 'F' series boot? Salomon 'F' boots have a shorter 'footprint' to reuce size and the need for bigger waisted boards. |

dont really think it will make much difference. As i said im riding the transit i white at the momment and have size 10 boots (dub boots which arnt low profile really) which has no overhang atall, so you will be fine. i mean you could go for a wide board if it really bugs you but why would you need to when you can ride a standard board which allows you to tranfer from edge to egde alot more easy and quicker.
there again it up to you
thanks for the interest |
