Hey

I really want to do a season in Colorado or maybe Utah/California, they all look amazing.
Haven’t had much luck with getting an h2b job lined up though, so I’m thinking I’m just going to rock up in resort. Has anyone done this before??
I’m finding it really hard to get any accom sorted before arriving. Anyone know if it’s fairly easy to find once you’re out there though? Don’t want to blow loads of money on hotels etc. Would love to go to breck/keystone or anywhere with good parks really.

Cheers and any generally advice really appreciated

tee

if you havnt got a visa it will be preety tricky to find a job.

but if you got a visa then job and accom shouldnt be to hard to find.

Just did a season in Keystone/Summit area, it will be very hard to find accommodation and cheap stuff at that, the area is geared completely to tourism.

An idea may be to look early and in places that are on the free bus route, but are of less interest to the average tourist, ie Silverthorne, Dillon.

One ghetto alternative is to camp out in the Far end lot all winter at A Basin, people do it all the time and you are just across the road from the free bus.
