Hey all,
I was at Braehead on sunday afternoon and used a couple of boxes towards the end of my sesh.
When i got home and took my board out to give it a good drying off I found that the base seemed to be covered in oil!? Or something of that sort anyway. It had a very distinctive fuel smell coming off it and has a greasy film on it.
Now i'm guessing that i've picked it up off the box. Do they lube up boxes and rails etc...Or is it something else?
So i'm now wondering whats the best way to clean it off. I'm thinking of just using warm soapy water and a cloth.
Any tips? |

sounds like oil or something from their piste basher thingy to me!? is that a possibility?
If so warm washing up liquid and elbow grease are probably your best bet.
Andy. |

| Yeah, I get that kind of crud on the bottoms of my trousers sometimes at Tam - its a bugger to get off as well but like Andy said, a bit of elbow grease will prob shift it. |

My white trousers are covered in filth from God knows where.. just clean it off.. but a board is meant to get a bit wrecked eventually so don't worry too much |

I wouldnt waste your time washing your board. the snow will do that job next time you go snoboarding.
unless your putting it into storage for summer or something. |
