yep, this is clearly a no win situation for most. its true u can never satisfy every1. i guess the hope that we could have a dome like they do in holland or japan for example where they have a permanent freestyle park (kickers and all) all year round is just a hope. well we can all dream hey.
one can only share their hopes. would be interesting to see a survey result of exactly how many riders would ride there more if there was a permanent freestyle park thou. im sure the public that vote against it would still ride there as much and even if it meant more icy patches. |

Let hope that if/when SnOasis outside Ipswich gets built they do include some kind of permenent features on the slope, after all its meant to be a "centre for winter sports excellence" and the slopes going to be big.

Well, if they had park settings all the time, I would probably ride at MK 2 or 3 times a week!
The setup for tomorrow is out, hope the 2 kickers will give you more chance to have a good one (hopefully) |

we can only hope hey! and pray! if it happens then there must be a god! i would try and ride everyday if they had a permanent park and im sure business would pick up quite dramatically! free riders arent interested in shreddin in domes. its us freestylers that keep the domes going! secondary to lessons and tobogganing of course!
yeah the park for this week looks sick!

was really good setup indeed last thursday. Totally different things than usual, and although first kicker got damaged quickly, second one was ace.
Got myself out after one hour, fall badly on my back going out of the up gas pipe unfortunatly... |

| whats all the fuss over kickers, even if they did agree to put out a permanent kicker no one would be able to agree on size. just face it, good kickers and fake snow just do not go hand in hand. you have to go away for good kickers. its all about rails in the fridges. |

Thats why i dont like snow kickers in this country as they throw you about in all sorts of directions.
I know alot of people dont like the kickers at Tam cause of the flat landings but i love em |

Habel, try turning the board from riding on 50-50 before you attempt the jump on boardslide. Get a feel of what its like just turning into it on a box. Just make sure you dont go onto and edge though. Turn but keep the board flat based on the box. Always start off on a box rather than a rail as its easier. Once you get a feel of it then build from there.
Hope that helps! |
