Hey folks,

Pleased to report i have just purchased my first board Very Happy

Have also managed to get my bindings figured out and attached, phew!

Am i good to go???? Do i need to get it waxed?? Should i get someone who knows a bit more about the setup to check it? (not keen on boarding on a potential death machine!)

Just a few pointers would be fab.... Smile

It should be good straight to go, assuming you brought it from a shop?

If it feels ok in terms of angles etc, then go for it.

But if you're not sure, yeah, go get it checked....preferably by the fittie in the shop Wink

But apart from that. Just strap in, ride and go!

Cool, just check the base of the boad.
I've not had to wax mine yet, but apparantly you'll see the granules on the base if it needs waxin.

It may be worth getting the edges around the nose and tail of the board detuned.

Have fun!

No greater feeling than your own board especially when its your first!**

** this may not be true - most things that feel better involve being naked though

Nah, it'll just decrease your chances of catching an edge that far down the board. Any store will sort that out for you.

No need to panic!!
